We upgraded from a dated chrome and hammered glass model, a project that truly accentuates the marble tile shower enclosure and expands the visual space in an average size master bathroom. As Acme Glass had already provided superb product and service when we had glass cut for topping several tables, we were reminded from visits to their business site that shower door replacement is also one of their many product and installation services. Each level of communication, from the knowledgeable, welcoming office team to the initial consultation and estimate phase and then the expert installation was (and continue to be!) highly professional and accommodating. The shower glass, the next to invisible attachment hardware, and the brushed nickel door handle are of excellent material and construction. 08/11/2021 We bought this house 10 years ago with almost all the window screens bent, warped and/or torn. Finally we decided to replace all the screens in the house... A total of 14 windows. We called Acme and Jim came out to do the measuring and was awesome. He was on time and he was quick and accurate, and he got along great with our dogs! We also requested a frosted-dual-pane glass window next to our front door. The gal in he office, Maria, was extremely helpful. She sent me pics of different types of window designs to choose from. 07/16/2021 Once again Acme Glass went above and beyond. A few years ago they replaced all of our windows and patio doors. They did an outstanding job! One of our patio screen doors quit rolling smoothly and my husband and I couldn't fix it. Called Acme Glass and they sent out one of their guys, actually I think he is their main man. 05/23/2019 Many of our double pane windows were fogged and needed to be replaced so we decided to replace the entire house with new low-e panes. A pricey project for us. We were extremely happy with Acme Glass from the first phone call to the completion of the project. The office staff was very polite, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. They never tried to sell us any unnecessary products. Friendly, professional and skilled crew who showed up on time. Thank you Brian and Edder. Cleaned up at the end of the days work. Finished the job early. And, even though we agreed to and signed the quoted contract price ACME gave us a refund because the job was completed earlier then expected. This was an unexpected and pleasant surprise because most companies would have just charged us for the original quote that we had agreed to.
The positive operation of this company helped take the sting out of this pricey project, we have already recommended ACME and will continue to do so.

11/22/2018 We needed two windows in our kitchen replaced before starting our complete kitchen remodel. Our old windows were terrible and poorly installed.
After contacting Acme Glass, Scott came over and measured for the new windows. We ordered the Tuscany Series by Milgard and are completely satisfied. We absolutely love them. Scott did the install and made sure the windows were properly flashed and perfectly fitted. He installed new exterior trim and calked the windows to ensure they were sealed correctly. We cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the Milgard Windows, the service provided by Acme Glass, and the entire experience. 06/28/18 I meant to write this review sooner, as its been a couple months since I used Acme Glass. We had a couple windows where the gaskets were bulging out. I thought I was going to have to get whole new windows, which is expensive. I happened to find Acme Glass, and asked them to come inspect.
They came out in a timely manner (can't remember how fast but probably within a week), for the estimate. I was happy with the estimate as it was way cheaper than what I worried it would be. They were going to be replacing 3 panes of glass, and then two of my windows needed new springs.
They set up a time for the work to be done a couple weeks later. We did have to postpone once, but it was due to rain and since some of the work needed to be done outside on a later date that made sense. When they came out (I think it was Andrew, but not positive), the work was done well, and pretty quickly. During the work we noticed two window screens needed replaced so I was able to order them and pick them up from the store and replace ourselves-they were easy to put in, and avoid an additional fee for them to come out to install.
Overall, I was very happy with my service. I only wish I had done this sooner. We are looking to put our house on the market so am fixing up these kinds of things, but the one window had been bothering me for years, and if I'd known it just needed the glass replaced, I would have dealt with it sooner.

4/18/2017 I just got off the phone with Traci and I wanted to let you know how awesome your front/telephone sales people are. We are a brokerage company here in Vacaville, and we needed glass cut for a new cabinet (50 1/4 x18 1/4) to protect it so that we may place a Keurig coffee maker & coffees on the top. I realized that this was not a big job but wanted to get a couple of different quotes to present to my boss. I was also trying to stay local so the first two companies that I called were here in Vacaville. Their phone service was not at all professional so it made me wonder what the final product would be. When I called your company, Traci answered the phone very professionally and was so helpful answering all of my questions and making helpful suggestions since it was obvious that I had not ordered glass before. When I called back the second time I spoke with Dee Dee and received the same kind of service that I had experienced from Traci.
All in all I emailed and spoke w/Traci several times and each time the service from her and Dee Dee was excellent.
Also, the turn around time was very quick even though the job was very small.

12/1/2016 This is as good as it gets. The office staff was super professional and called us to confirm our appointment and who would be arriving. The technician arrived to look at two windows I thought would be a nightmare to fix (they are lift up windows and the rail sliding part had fallen out) well he popped out both windows and fixed it on the spot and did not charge us!!! He also looked at and fixed another window that the builder had left duct tape on the inside and fixed that as well no charge! I can't thank him enough.
We are going to have them replace our walk-in shower door and I can't wait to see how it looks.

I called to get my double panel patio glass repaired and they sent a guy out the next day to measure the glass, then they ordered the glass which only took two days to be shipped, so the whole process took 3 days and my glass was fixed. Your company recently installed new, dual-pane windows in our home. Dee Dee worked with me to identify the best product and settled the price and installation dates. Mike and Kelly came the first day of installation; Junior joined the team on the second day.
Employers usually only hear about their employees when there’s a complaint. This time you’re hearing about customers who are delighted not only with the product, but also with Dee Dee and with the team who spent two days in our home.

The installation team members were a perfect combination of professional, personable, humorous, and very efficient. While there was usually a quiet banter going on among them, their productivity didn’t miss a beat. It took them about 30 seconds to conclude that we also had good senses of humor, so we were included at appropriate points. With the exception of the necessary hammering, the men worked quietly and respected our home as their home, or even better.

When it was noted that there was a minor defect in the glass that was ordered, your office was notified. I didn't know what kind of a response I would get. The appropriate action began immediately to order another piece of glass for our garden window. I was relieved even though I had been told that your business stands behind it's work. I used to go to Acme Glass back when Scott's old man was running the company in the 70's. I've always been treated like family there, and though I've never replaced all my windows, they have helped me out with lots of little glass, window and door projects that I've had over the years. I think they are the only full servce glass shop in the area, and even if they aren't, I wouldn't go anywhere else anyway. I highly recommend giving them a call.
